SMS Messaging Terms

Trust Blocks (a service of First-Rate Tech Corp) operates an SMS text messaging program. This page describes how the program works and how you consent to receive text messages from us.

Program description

Trust Blocks sends transactional text messages for two purposes: (1) one-time verification codes when you sign up or sign in, and (2) helper invitations and account notifications, sent when a Trust Blocks account holder invites you to help manage their account or when there is activity on your account. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

How you opt in

You provide express, affirmative consent inside the Trust Blocks mobile app. During sign-in, before any account text is sent, you check a consent box — unchecked by default — that reads:

“I agree to receive text messages from Trust Blocks at the number I provided, including verification codes and account notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

You must actively check this box to continue; it is never pre-selected.

Helper invitations (consent on behalf of another person)

Trust Blocks lets an account owner invite a trusted “helper” by phone number. Before sending an invitation text, the owner must check a separate attestation confirming the recipient has agreed to receive it:

“I confirm [name] has agreed to receive a text invitation from me through Trust Blocks.”

Invitation texts clearly identify Trust Blocks as the sender and include opt-out instructions.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity — for example, each time you sign in or receive an invitation. These are transactional messages, not a recurring subscription.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Trust Blocks does not charge for text messages.

How to opt out — reply STOP

Reply STOP to any Trust Blocks message at any time to unsubscribe. You’ll receive one confirmation, and we won’t send further texts to that number. Note: because Trust Blocks uses SMS to deliver sign-in verification codes, opting out may prevent you from signing in.
